Beaufort, S.C. — The Morgan Cos. has plans to develop Beaufort Station, a 200,000-square-foot shopping center in Beaufort. The firm acquired 31 acres for the project. The sales price and seller for the land were not disclosed. Construction is expected to start this quarter, with the project set for completion by the fall of 2023. Crosland Southeast Buys 23.7 Acres for Publix-Anchored Development in Metro Charleston

Summerville, S.C. — Crosland Southeast has bought 23.7 acres for the first phase of One Nexton, a Publix-anchored mixed-use development in Summerville, roughly 24 miles outside Charleston. Daniel Pellegrino and Seth Clark of Bridge Commercial represented the seller, Brookfield/NASH, in the transaction. Upon completion, the multi-phase project will include 150,000 square feet of shopping and dining space and 351 multifamily units. Denver — Evergreen Devco Inc. has completed the construction of a grocery-anchored shopping center at the northeast corner of 56th Avenue and Tower Road in Denver. The property will be anchored by a 23,300-square-foot Sprouts Farmers Market, which is set to open on January 14. The development site also features an 8,224-square-foot multi-tenant building and six accompanying retail pads, which are slated to open later this year. Atlanta — Four restaurants are set to open at mixed-use project Westside Paper during the second quarter of 2022 in Atlanta’s West Midtown. The four restaurant tenants include Pancake Social, Glide Pizza, Girl Diver and Boxcar Betty’s. A joint venture between Third & Urban and FCP is developing the project, which is a 245,000-square-foot adaptive reuse of a former 1950s-era warehouse facility.
