Puttshack Opens 26,000-Square-Foot Entertainment Center in Downtown Houston

Houston — Puttshack has opened a 26,000-square-foot center at The Highlight at Houston Center, a retail and office complex located in the city’s downtown area. The venue offers four nine-hole minigolf courses, two bars serving craft cocktails and beers, a formal dining area and a private event space that can accommodate more than 100 guests. Brookfield Properties owns The Highlight, which also houses an Immersive Gamebox entertainment center.

Cordish Cos. to Acquire, Redevelop Diamond Jacks Casino & Hotel in Bossier City, Louisiana

Bossier City, La. — The Cordish Cos. has announced an agreement to acquire Diamond Jacks Casino & Hotel, located in Bossier City in northwest Louisiana. Subject to approval by the Louisiana Gaming Control Board, Cordish plans to redevelop the property into a casino resort and entertainment destination. Closed since March 2020, the development will be the first in the state of Louisiana under Cordish’s Live! brand, which offers dining, entertainment, casino, hotel and sports-anchored entertainment spaces. Sky Zone Signs 30,700-Square-Foot Lease in Rancho Cucamonga, California

Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. — Sky Zone has signed a lease for 30,700 square feet at 12449 Foothill Boulevard in Rancho Cucamonga. Sky Zone, which currently operates more than 200 locations throughout the country and Canada, will open an indoor entertainment park at the property, which is located within the 550,000-square-foot Foothill Marketplace. Paul Galmarini and Paul Su of Progressive Real Estate Partners arranged the lease on behalf of the landlord. Richard Cheng and Dan Fagan of Urban Lime Real Estate represented Sky Zone in the negotiations.

The new concept is inspired by movie studio backlots and will feature a full-service restaurant and bar, sports viewing arena, an arcade, bowling with digitally animated and enhanced lanes, an outdoor patio with yard games and a private event space with party and corporate event rooms.  Paramus, N.J. — Kingsmen Xperience, a subsidiary of Kingsmen Creatives Ltd., and Good Vibrations will open two branded location-based entertainment (LBE) attractions totaling 56,000 square feet at Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, roughly 25 miles northwest of New York City.
