Greenville, S.C. — Topgolf opened its 50th venue in the U.S. this past Friday in Greenville, South Carolina. The three-tier, 55,000-square-foot driving range and bar is located at 201 Clifton Court, 10 miles from downtown Greenville and directly off Interstate 85. The new Topgolf features a chef-driven menu, top-shelf drinks, big screen TVs, flexible private event spaces and music in climate-controlled hitting bays. Watchung, N.J. — Cinemark Holdings Inc. has opened a 10-screen theater at 1670 Route 22 East in Watchung, located 30 miles west of New York City. The theater will feature wall-to-wall screens, oversized recliners, reserved seating services and a party room for private events. The venue will be the third in the state for Cinemark, which currently operates 546 theaters across 41 states and various Latin American countries.

Plano, Texas — Cinépolis USA will open a 10-screen, 40,000-square-foot theater at The Shops at Willow Bend in Plano as part of owner Starwood Retail Partners’ $145 million project to expand and renovate the mall. The theater, which joins entertainment concepts like Crayola Experience and the North Texas Performing Arts Children’s Theatre, will be directly integrated into the mall and will offer a variety of food and beverage options. Houston — Life Time Inc., an owner-operator of health clubs across the country, will bring a 56,000-square-foot athletic facility and 38,000-square-foot coworking space to GreenStreet, an office and retail property in downtown Houston by local developer Midway. The facility will be located at 1201 Main St. and will offer two floors featuring a range of health and wellness amenities combined with coworking space. The opening is scheduled for 2020.

Irving, Texas — Stumpy’s Hatchet House, an entertainment concept centered on throwing axes, will open a 7,500-square-foot venue at Toyota Music Factory in Irving. The location will be the company’s first in Dallas-Fort Worth and 23rd in the country. Construction of the space is scheduled to begin in April.
