Gainesville, Ga. — Bridge33 Capital has sold Westbrook Plaza, a 49,364-square-foot retail center in the Atlanta suburb of Gainesville, for $8.7 million. Jim Hamilton, Brad Buchanan and Andrew Michols of JLL represented the seller in the disposition of the property to Collett Capital. Constructed in 2006 and anchored by Best Buy, the center was fully leased at the time of sale to tenants including Burn Boot Camp, Mattress Firm, WNB Factory, Pazzi’s Pizza, Paris Nails and Pet Pleasers Bakery.

Atlanta — Four restaurants are set to open at mixed-use project Westside Paper during the second quarter of 2022 in Atlanta’s West Midtown. The four restaurant tenants include Pancake Social, Glide Pizza, Girl Diver and Boxcar Betty’s. A joint venture between Third & Urban and FCP is developing the project, which is a 245,000-square-foot adaptive reuse of a former 1950s-era warehouse facility. Bridger Properties is managing leasing on behalf of the development team.
Columbus, Ga. — Cotton Cos. has signed Cleaver & Cork, a butcher and artisan market, to an 1,800-square-foot lease at Highside Market, an adaptive reuse mixed-use development in Columbus. Cleaver & Cork will offer a selection of charcuterie, meats, seafood, artisan goods and local cheeses, as well as a variety of craft beer and wine. Atlanta — JLL Capital Markets has arranged the sale of Crossroads South, a 201,404-square-foot, Kroger-anchored retail center in Atlanta. Jim Hamilton, Brad Buchanan and Taylor Callaway of JLL represented the undisclosed seller. First National Realty Partners acquired the property for $16.2 million. Located at 7965 Tara Blvd., the property was 92 percent leased at the time of sale to tenants including Badcock Furniture & More, Roses, Subway, H&R Block, Shoe Show and Top Nails. Kroger has plans to construct and operate a Kroger Fuel Center at the property.
Atlanta — CBRE National Retail Partners has brokered the sale of Park Place, an 82,097-square-foot retail property in Atlanta’s Central Perimeter. Edens purchased the center from Coro Realty Advisors for an undisclosed amount. Chris Decoufle, Kevin Hurley and Matt Karempelis of CBRE represented the seller in the transaction. Built in 1978, the property was 92 percent occupied at the time of sale by tenants including Alon’s Bakery and Market, Fidelity Investments, Jared Galleria of Jewelry, Allen Edmonds, Expedia Travel, Balance Salon and The Brass Tap.
Columbus, Ga. — Mag Mile Capital has secured $3 million in acquisition financing for a triple-net-leased retail property located at 3498 Victory Drive in Columbus. The 3,648-square-foot retail property is fully leased to Caliber Car Wash. Paula Mello and Matt Weilgus of Mag Mile Capital arranged the 10-year, fixed-rate loan through an undisclosed regional credit union on behalf of the borrower, Freeport Equity. The loan features a 25-year amortization schedule.
Dawsonville, Ga. — Stan Johnson Co. has arranged the sale of Dawson Forest Shopping Center, a 10,100-square-foot shopping center located at 802 Georgia Highway 400 South in Dawsonville. Doug Clyburn and Julie Clyburn of Stan Johnson Co. represented the private, Atlanta-based buyer in the acquisition of the property from an undisclosed seller for $1.7 million. Built in 1998 and renovated in 2018, the center was 72 percent occupied at the time of sale.
Douglasville, Ga. — A joint venture between Connolly and Coro Realty has sold Arbor Square, a 127,195-square-foot shopping center located roughly 23 miles outside Atlanta in Douglasville. ALTO Real Estate Funds purchased the property for $18.4 million. Mark Joines and Drew Fleming of Newmark arranged the sale. Developed by Connolly in 1977, Arbor Square was fully renovated in 2018 and was 97 percent occupied at the time of sale by tenants such as Burlington, HomeGoods, Skechers, Starbucks Coffee, Five Guys and Del Taco.
East Point, Ga. — Mynd Match Development Group LLC has announced plans to develop The Commons, a $111 million mixed-use project in downtown East Point, about 7 miles south of downtown Atlanta. Last month, the East Point City Council voted to enter a development agreement with Mynd Match for the project.
