Chicago — Retailers have begun opening at Addison & Clark, a mixed-use project located across the street from Chicago’s Wrigley Field. The lineup includes a 10,000-square-foot Harley Davidson showroom; a 30,000-square-foot Lucky Strike Social, a combination bowling alley, arcade and event venue; the city’s first Beerhead Bar and Eatery; Shake Shack; and Do-Rite Donuts and Chicken. Tenants yet to open include Cargo Food Authority, Cinemex CMX Cinemas, Kilwins and a 32,000-square-foot health club. A joint venture between M&R Development and Bucksbaum Retail Properties is developing the transit-oriented project.

Grayslake, Ill. — The Woodmont Company has unveiled plans to develop a 15,000-square-foot retail center in Grayslake, located 50 miles north of downtown Chicago. Known as Washington & Barron Commons, the four-building property will be situated at the corner of Washington Street and Barron Boulevard. Construction on Phase I is expected to begin this summer. Phase I will include a 9,000-square-foot building for Kiddie Academy and a 4,500-square-foot single-tenant building. Chicago — Cushman & Wakefield has established a new Sports & Entertainment Advisory Group to provide solutions for designing, building, financing, operating and maximizing revenue streams for athletic and entertainment venues. The new S&E Advisory Group includes partnerships with industry leaders such as Chicago-based sports and entertainment marketing firm W Partners. Joliet, Ill. — Cullinan Properties Ltd. has broken ground on Rock Run Crossings, a 265-acre mixed-use project in Joliet. Cullinan is underway on clearing the site and plans to begin construction late this spring. A groundbreaking ceremony took place Friday, March 22. Cullinan has also revealed the first anchor tenant at Rock Run Crossings will be a 16-screen Regal Cinemas movie theater that will span 70,000 square feet. The developer plans to announce more tenants later this year.

Arlington Heights, Ill. — SVN | Chicago Commercial has arranged the sale of The Esplanade at Arlington Heights for $4.4 million. The 18,419-square-foot retail property is located at 2920-2964 W. Euclid Ave. in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Subway and Starbucks Coffee are the anchor tenants. Tim Franz and John Livaditis of SVN represented the seller, a private real estate investment group. The buyer was not disclosed.
