Naples, Fla. — Benderson Development has acquired Carillon Place, a 250,000-square-foot retail center located in Naples. Tenants at the property, which was 92 percent leased at the time of sale, include T.J. Maxx, DSW and Walmart. Other recent acquisitions in the state for Benderson include North River Marketplace, Glengary Shoppes and Linton Commons.

Washington, D.C. — Gantry has secured a $22.3 million loan for the acquisition of Cityline at Tenley, a retail center located in Washington, D.C. Tenants at the property, which totals 89,000 square feet and is situated within a mixed-use development, include Target, Ace Hardware and Bank of America. Braden Turnbull, George Mitsanas and Austin Ridge of Gantry arranged the seven-year, fixed-rate financing on behalf of the borrower, Lincoln Property Co. A life insurance company provided the loan.
Barrington, Ill. — An affiliate of Next Realty LLC has sold The Shops at Flint Creek in the northwest Chicago suburb of Barrington to a private investor for an undisclosed price. Heinen’s anchors the 60,000-square-foot property. Additional tenants at the center include Athletico, Ascension Medical Group Illinois, Epic Burger and Club Pilates. Sean Sharko of Marcus & Millichap represented Next, which purchased the property in 2014, in the transaction.
Santa Clarita, Calif. — Hanley Investment Group Real Estate Advisors has arranged the sale of Stevenson Ranch Plaza, a 29,817-square-foot shopping center located in Santa Clarita. Catalyst Real Estate sold the property for an undisclosed price. Tutor Time anchors the center, which was built in 1999 and remodeled in 2023. Kevin Fryman, Ed Hanley, Sean Cox and Alexander Moore of Hanley represented the seller. Edmond Bina of EMB Properties represented the buyer.
West Covina, Calif. — Progressive Real Estate Partners has brokered the $2.4 million sale of a retail center located in West Covina, roughly 20 miles east of Los Angeles. The property, which totals 7,760 square feet, was fully occupied by five tenants at the time of sale. Greg Bedell and Roxanne Klein of Progressive represented the seller, a private investor, in the transaction.
Manchester, Tenn. — Cushman & Wakefield has brokered the sale of a Whispering Pines, a shopping center in Manchester. Totaling 107,000 square feet, the property was fully leased at the time of sale. Lane Breedlove and Margaret Jones of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller, an entity doing business as Core Whispering Pines LLC. Landon Williams and Katie Hargett, also of Cushman & Wakefield, represented the buyer, an entity doing business as BAG3 Holding LLC.
Forestville, Md. — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the $7.4 million sale of Penn Forest Shopping Center, a 37,425-square-foot retail center located in Forestville. Tenants at the property include Dollar General and CSL Plasma. Dean Zang, David Crotts and Jeffrey Pensak of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, an affiliate of Woodmont Properties, in the transaction. Eastern Union and an undisclosed bank lender provided acquisition financing to the buyer.
Johns Creek, Ga. — Big V Property Group has acquired Johns Creek Town Center, a 303,297-square-foot retail center located in Johns Creek, roughly 30 miles northeast of Atlanta. Sprouts Farmers Market anchors the property, which was built in 2001 and 99.7 percent leased at the time of sale. Other tenants at the center include HomeGoods, Michaels, Market by Macy’s, Kohl’s, PetSmart and Ulta Beauty. Jim Hamilton, Brad Buchanan and Andrew Kahn of JLL represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction.
Spartanburg, S.C. — Reedy River Retail at SVN Blackstream has brokered the sale of Westgate Mall, a 431,306-square-foot retail property located in Spartanburg. Namdar Realty acquired the mall for roughly $15 million. Belk, Dillard’s, JCPenney and Costco anchor the property, which is situated on 52 acres. Dustin Tenney and Daniel Holloway of Reedy River Retail arranged the transaction.
Laredo, Texas — Kobalt Investment Co. has partnered with Stonefield Investment Advisors and Espada Real Estate to acquire Rio Norte Shopping Center in Laredo. Ross Dress for Less anchors the 222,291-square-foot property. Other tenants at the center include Michaels, Petco, Dollar Tree, Shoe Carnival, Five Below, dd’s DISCOUNTS and Spec’s. Adam Howells and Matthew Barge of JLL Capital Markets brokered the transaction on behalf of the seller.
