CanalSide-Food+Drink_Cambridge-Mass

Cambridge, Mass. — Two new concepts have joined the lineup at CanalSide Food + Drink, a new food hall scheduled to open this month in Cambridge. Eateries Juicygreens and Far Out Ice Cream have joined the vendor lineup, which also includes anoush’ella, Caffé Nero, Chilacates, DalMoros Fresh Pasta to Go, Fresh, InChu, Lala’s Neapolitan-ish Pizza, Nu Burger, Sapporo Ramen and Teazzi Tea Shop. New England Development is the developer of the property, which was designed by RODE. The project team also includes general contractor Whiting Turning.

Shenandoah, Texas — BRKTHROUGH will open a new, 20,000-square-foot experiential entertainment venue in Shenandoah, roughly 30 miles north of Houston. Located within the Metropark Square mixed-use development, the facility will feature 40 challenge rooms with competition-focused games. The concept also includes a curated food and drink menu offered in a dedicated BRK ROOM space. Sam Moon Group manages the Metropark Square development.

Cedar Hill, Texas — Kids Empire will open a 10,527-square-foot indoor playground in Cedar Hill, a suburb of Dallas. The venue will be situated within Hillside Village, a 615,000-square-foot, open-air power center anchored by Dick’s Sporting Goods, Barnes & Noble, Old Navy and H&M. Gretchen Miller, Emilie Paulson and Bryn Carden of Weitzman represented the landlord, PREP Property Group, in the lease negotiations. Robin Barrow and Eddie Liebman of Weitzman, with Austin Diemer and Shelby Pedroza of E & R Property Group, represented Kids Empire.

Vernon Hills, Ill. — Three new tenants have signed leases at Hawthorn, a shopping center in Vernon Hills, roughly 40 miles outside Chicago. Pure Barre has opened a 1,768-square-foot studio at the property, and Yard House will open a 7,765-square-foot restaurant. Rootz has also signed a lease at the center and is scheduled to open within a 7,222-square-foot space in the fourth quarter of 2025. Hawthorn, which opened in 1973, is also currently undergoing a mixed-use redevelopment.

Coconut Creek, Fla. — Four new tenants have signed leases at Promenade at Coconut Creek, a shopping center located in Coconut Creek. Fragrance store Orientica is now open at the property, within a 1,045-square-foot space. Karma Bath & Body Co. is scheduled to open a 1,868-square-foot store later this month, and My Phone Lab and Happy Monkey will occupy 1,801 and 1,000 square feet, respectively, beginning in October. Avison Young manages and leases Promenade at Coconut Creek.

Santa Ana, Calif. — Five new tenants have signed leases at MainPlace, a three-story shopping center located in Santa Ana. FYE, Express, WOW Games and Flowers on Wheels are now open at the property, occupying 6,326; 7,907; 1,326; and 1,199 square feet, respectively. Lollicup Fresh will also join the tenant lineup and is scheduled to open a 1,328-square-foot shop this month. Centennial owns and operates the shopping center, which features roughly 150 retailers and restaurants.

LaCenterra-Cinco-Ranch_Katy-Texas

Katy, Texas — Four new tenants have signed leases at LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch, a shopping center located in Katy, roughly 30 miles outside downtown Houston. Houston TX Hot Chicken, Fidelity Investments, The Salty Donut and Chewy Vet Care will occupy 4,065; 8,000; 1,329; and 3,002 square feet at the property, respectively. JLL manages the center.

Westminster, Colo. — Seven new tenants have signed leases at The Orchard Town Center, a retail center located in Westminster, roughly 12 miles outside downtown Denver. Warby Parker, J.Crew Factory, Rally House, Cozy Coffee Co. and ZAGG are scheduled to open at the property later this year. P.F. Chang’s and Activate have also signed leases at the center, with plans to open next year. Vestar manages and leases the property, which is over 90 percent occupied. Existing tenants at the center include Target, Nordstrom Rack, Sephora and Lululemon.

Costa Mesa, Calif. — Three new retail tenants have signed leases at South Coast Collection (SoCo), a 292,000-square-foot retail center located in Costa Mesa, roughly 40 miles outside Los Angeles. Lovesac, BauTeam and Fireclay Handmade Tile will occupy 2,198; 2,035; and 2,238 square feet at the property, respectively. Continental Realty Corp. (CRC) is the landlord of the center, which was originally developed in 2007. Collierville, Tenn. — RealSource Group has arranged the sale-leaseback of a 34,000-square-foot single-tenant retail property located in Collierville, roughly 30 miles southeast of Memphis. LA Fitness occupies the property, which was built in 2019. Ted Slaughter and Jonathan Schiffer of RealSource, in association with Scott Reid of ParaSell Inc., represented the seller, Fitness International, in the transaction. A private investor acquired the property for an undisclosed price. LA Fitness will continue to occupy the building on a 15-year net lease.
