Atlanta — Third & Urban and FCP have announced the addition of four tenants to the 15-acre Westside Paper development located along the Atlanta BeltLine in Westside Atlanta. Currently under development and scheduled to open in early 2023, Westside Paper, which is centered around a historic 1950s paper warehouse, features 245,000 square feet of mixed-use space. King of Pops, Elsewhere Brewing, Ancestral Bottle Shop + Market and taqueria concept El Santo Gallo will join the retail lineup. HomeSense to Open 30,000-Square-Foot Store at University Town Center in Sarasota, Florida

Sarasota, Fla. — HomeSense will open a 30,000-square-foot store at University Town Center (UTC) in Sarasota, marking the home furnishing retailer’s first location in the state. Benderson Development’s UTC is a mixed-use property comprising over 250 specialty stores, more than 80 restaurants, three hotels and over 250,000 square feet of office space. Alfred Sanzari Enterprises to Open 3,350-Square-Foot Food Hall in Teaneck, New Jersey

Teaneck, N.J. — Alfred Sanzari Enterprises will open Marketplace, a 3,350-square-foot food hall in the Northern New Jersey community of Teaneck. Located within the firm’s 670,000-square-foot Glenpointe campus, Marketplace has already received commitments from concepts such as kosher deli Ma’adan, Colombian coffee shop Coffeecol, French-inspired Balthazar Bakery and ice cream maker Sip N Swirl. Marketplace will officially open Friday, Oct. 21. White Lodging will manage the venue.

Atlanta — Five new retailers are set to open within the container village at Lee + White, a mixed-use redevelopment by Ackerman & Co. and MDH Partners in Atlanta’s West End. ACX Cinemas, Backlot Pizza + Kitchen to Open at BAYSHORE in Suburban Milwaukee

Glendale, Wis. — ACX Cinemas is set to open at BAYSHORE, a shopping center located in the Milwaukee suburb of Glendale, during summer 2023. The 42,951-square-foot location will include six theaters, gaming, bowling and a Backlot Pizza + Kitchen. Paul Bryant and Westin Kane of Mid-America Real Estate represented ACX in the transaction. Fitness 19 will take over a 20,100-square-foot space at the development, which is anchored by Stater Bros. Markets. Paul Su of Progressive represented the lessor, and Chris Beauchamp of Lee & Associates represented Fitness 19. Other tenants at the 117,000-square-foot center include Chevron, H & R Block, Carl’s Jr., Papa John’s Pizza and Boba Tea House.

BSD Capital to Redevelop 148,857-Square-Foot Former Sears Department Store in Ocala, Florida

Ocala, Fla. — BSD Capital recently purchased a former Sears department store and Sears Automotive Center in Ocala spanning 148,857 square feet. An affiliate of Seritage Growth Properties, the spun-off REIT from Sears Holding Corp., sold the buildings at a private auction for $3.2 million. Louie Granteed of Tobin Real Estate represented BSD Capital in the acquisition and is leading leasing efforts for the new owner’s redevelopment that will convert the property to a retail and entertainment destination. Chicago — Luxury Spanish bridalwear brand Rosa Clará has signed a 2,200-square-foot retail lease at 670 N. Wabash Ave. in Chicago near the Magnificent Mile.
