Oklahoma City — Hobby Lobby is in the midst of expanding its Florida footprint with three new 55,000-square-foot stores. The Oklahoma City-based arts and crafts retailer opened a location in Panama City Beach on July 6, a store within Terra’s Pines City Center in Pembroke Pines on Aug. 8 and will open a store in Urban-X Group’s River Landing project in Miami on Sept. 8. Troy, Mich. — Beyond Juicery + Eatery has signed a 1,104-square-foot lease at Troy Marketplace. The juicer will occupy space that formerly housed Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt. The retail center is located at the intersection of Big Beaver and Rochester roads in Troy, about 20 miles north of Detroit. Tjader Gerdom, Michael Murphy and Larry Siedell of Gerdom Realty & Investment represented the landlord, RPT Realty, in the lease negotiations. Miami — Parkway Real Estate Services LLC and joint venture partner KKR have completed their $10 million renovation of Sabadell Financial Center, a 30-story, 524,000-square-foot office tower in Miami’s Brickell district. The waterfront property overlooks Biscayne Bay. Parkway Real Estate and KKR acquired the property for $250 million in 2018 and immediately commenced renovation plans. Upgrades included redesigning the entrance and renovating the lobby, as well as adding enhanced cellphone signal technology, meeting and entertainment spaces and a rooftop deck with space for fitness classes. Atlanta — Ju-C Bar has opened its second location in metro Atlanta, joining the tenant lineup at Krog Street Market, a 30,000-square-foot food hall in Atlanta’s Inman Park neighborhood. Ju-C Bar is a family-owned restaurant specializing in made-order juices, smoothies, salads and wraps. Port Chester, N.Y. — Target has signed an 89,781-square-foot retail lease to occupy a two-story space at Gateway Port Chester, a 494,000-square-foot, open-air retail center located near the New York-Connecticut border. An opening date has not yet been determined. Jessica Curtis of CBRE represented the landlord, a partnership between M&J Wilkow and MetLife Investment Management, in the lease negotiations. Johnson City, Tenn. — Washington Prime Group (WPG) has signed Chipotle Mexican Grill and Chicken Salad Chick to the tenant roster of The Mall at Johnson City, a mall in Johnson City that is currently being redeveloped. The two eateries are expected to open in spring 2021. Other new and committed tenants include HomeGoods, which will replace the former Sears department store; Palmetto Moon, a Southern apparel retailer that opened in June; and Rose & Remington and Curve & Cloth, which are set to open next spring. Houston — Lee & Associates-Houston has arranged a 3,000-square-foot lease in Houston for Voodoo Doughnut, a boutique donut shop based in Portland, Ore. Voodoo will open the new store this fall at 1214 Westheimer Road in Houston’s Montrose district. Grant Walker and Brad Kilbride of Lee & Associates-Houston, along with Wade Green of Transwestern, represented Voodoo in the lease deal. The landlord was not disclosed. Marabu, which recently opened its doors, is a Cuban-inspired restaurant headed by Cuban-American chef Alberto Cabrera.
