Bay Country Estates Purchases Burger King-Leased Property in Shepherdsville, Kentucky for $1.6 Million

Shepherdsville, Ky. — Bay Country Estates has purchased a 34,484-square-foot retail property in Shepherdsville that is ground-leased to Burger King. An entity doing business as Dixie Hwy Development #3 LLC sold the property for $1.6 million. Carrols Corp. operates the Burger King location, which has 18.5 years remaining on its lease. The property is located at 315 Keystone Crossing Drive, about 20 miles south of Louisville. Jesse Limon of Marcus & Millichap’s Manhattan office represented the seller in the transaction. West Palm Beach, Fla. — CBRE has arranged the sale of a 45,000-square-foot store at 1880 Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard in West Palm Beach. Best Buy has operated at this location for 25 years. Will Pike, Chris Bosworth and Brian Pfohl of CBRE’s Atlanta office, along with Dennis Carson and Casey Rosen of CBRE’s National Retail Partners Florida Team, represented the seller, which was advised by Orion Investments. The buyer was RK Centers, an owner of retail properties in both South Florida and Massachusetts.

ShopRite to Open 73,000-Square-Foot Grocery Store in Matamoras, Pennsylvania

Matamoras, Pa. — ShopRite will open a 73,000-square-foot grocery store within the former Kmart building at Westfall Town Center in Matamoras, located along the New Jersey-Pennsylvania border. The opening is scheduled for this fall. Metro Chicago-based CenterPoint Properties owns Westfall Town Center. Derek Zerfass and Scott Horner of Colliers International brokered the deal. An undisclosed user is also set to occupy 25,000 square feet within the former Kmart store beginning this fall.
