Four Retailers Join Mixed-Use Fenton Development Near Raleigh

Cary, N.C. — Hines, Columbia Development and USAA Real Estate have signed four retailers to join the lineup at Fenton in Cary. Cosmetic retailer Sephora will occupy 4,400 square feet, women’s clothing retailer Free People will occupy 4,000 square feet and Bailey’s Fine Jewelry will occupy 5,000 square feet. CMX CineBistro will join Wegmans as the 69-acre development’s anchor tenants. Construction on Fenton is expected to begin next summer with completion anticipated for fall 2021. Three Tenants Join Retail Lineup at Ballpark Village Expansion in St. Louis

St. Louis — The St. Louis Cardinals and The Cordish Cos. have unveiled three new tenants at the $260 million expansion of Ballpark Village — Sports & Social St. Louis, Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse and Baseballism. The 75,000-square-foot retail portion within the second phase expansion is now 92 percent leased. Old Bridge, N.J. — R.J. Brunelli & Co. has negotiated a 24,000-square-foot retail lease for a Jersey Strong fitness center in Old Bridge, located about 35 miles south of New York City. The tenant will anchor the 84,900-square-foot Browntown Shopping Center along with a Walgreens. R.J. Brunelli and Richard Brunelli of R.J. Brunelli & Co. represented Jersey Strong in the lease negotiations.

Warby Parker Signs 1,350-Square-Foot Retail Lease in Brooklyn

New York City — Warby Parker, a retailer of prescription glasses and sunglasses, has signed a 1,350-square-foot retail lease in Brooklyn. The two-story building is located on North 6th Street in the Williamsburg neighborhood, and the store is the retailer’s second location in the borough. The store is open now. Brian Katz and Scott Sher of Katz & Associates represented Warby Parker in the lease negotiations. Hank O’Donnell of Good Space represented the landlord, RedSky Capital LLC.

New York City — The Feil Organization has leased 9,389 square feet of retail space to three restaurants at 7 Penn Plaza, a 357,000-square-foot building in Manhattan. Miami Beach, Fla. — The Lincoln Road Business Improvement District (BID) has executed six leases with retailers and restaurants to occupy space on Lincoln Road, Miami Beach’s high street for upscale retail, restaurants and entertainment. Cushman & Wakefield Negotiates 5,550-Square-Foot Retail Lease for Sephora in Brooklyn

New York City — Cushman & Wakefield, has negotiated a 5,500-square-foot retail lease for French beauty product chain Sephora in downtown Brooklyn. The retail space is located within the Atlantic Terminal Mall, across from the Barclays Center. The new store is scheduled to open in October. Brandon Singer, Ian Lerner, Alan Schmerzler and Diana Boutross of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, New York-based Madison International, in the lease negotiations. Fitness Connection Signs 55,606-Square-Foot Retail Lease at Denton’s Golden Triangle Mall

Denton, Texas — Health club chain Fitness Connection has signed a 55,606-square-foot lease at Golden Triangle Mall, a 765,000-square-foot shopping and dining destination in Denton. GTM Development Ltd. has redeveloped the mall, which now houses anchors such as Macy’s, JC Penney, Dillard’s, Barnes & Noble and H&M. Steve Greenwood and Byron Howard of Weitzman represented building ownership in the lease negotiations. Susan Ridley and Sherman Hinkebein with The Retail Connection represented Fitness Connection, which will backfill a space currently occupied by Designer Shoe Warehouse, whose lease expires in September.
