Baltimore — Neuman Commercial Group has arranged the $18.2 million sale of Alameda Marketplace, a 124,000-square-foot shopping center anchored by Shoppers Food in Baltimore. The asset was 90 percent leased at the time of the sale to 15 tenants including Walgreens, Family Dollar, Rent-A-Center, Planet Fitness, Fresenius Medical, Rainbow and Bank of America. Brandywine, Md. — Velocis, in partnership with Katz Properties, has acquired Brandywine Crossing, a 230,925-square-foot retail center in Brandywine, 20 miles southeast of Washington, D.C. The name of the seller and sales price were not disclosed. Safeway anchors the open-air center, which is also home to tenants such as Marshalls, Target and Costco. Katz Properties will manage the center. The transaction marks Velocis’ fifth acquisition in the Washington, D.C., metro area since 2011.
