Sleep Number relocated from Apache Mall in 2018 to this 3,000-square-foot, freestanding store at 2257 Commerce Drive NW. Deborah Vannelli, Keith Sturm and Amanda Leathers of Upland represented the 1031 exchange buyer in the acquisition of the net-leased property. Tom Gommels of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, a limited liability company.

Chanhassen, Minn. — Phillips Edison & Co. Inc. (PECO) has acquired West Village Center in Chanhassen, about 20 miles southwest of Minneapolis. A 64,643-square-foot Lunds & Byerlys grocery store anchors the 142,724-square-foot shopping center. Other tenants include Party City, TCF Bank, FedEx, OfficeMax, Caribou Coffee, Great Clips, a nail salon and an orthodontic office. The purchase price and seller were undisclosed.
Minneapolis — For the November and December holiday season, Target’s comparable sales rose 17.2 percent over the same period last year. Store-originated sales grew 4.2 percent and digital sales grew 102 percent. Store traffic increased 4.3 percent and the average ticket grew by 12.3 percent. Inc. reported that its comparable-store sales grew 23 percent in the third quarter compared with the same period a year ago, a figure CEO Corie Barry called “remarkable.” The Richfield-based retailer’s third quarter ended Oct. 31. Minneapolis — Citing its multiple shopping channels and merchandising mix, Target Corp. reported Wednesday that its third-quarter comparable sales grew 20.7 percent compared with the same period a year ago. Digital comparable sales soared 155 percent, accounting for 10.9 percentage points of Target’s comparable sales growth. Minneapolis — Target Corp. has reopened two stores in Minneapolis and in Atlanta’s Buckhead district that were destroyed in the spring due to civil unrest from the George Floyd tragedy in Minneapolis.
