Albuquerque, N.M. — Ariel Property Advisors has arranged a $5.5 million loan for the refinancing of Guadalupe Plaza, an 87,000-square-foot retail center located in Albuquerque. Matt Swerdlow, Matthew Dzbanek and Rhea Vivek secured the 15-year refinancing on behalf of the borrower, a New Jersey-based investor. The loan features one year of interest-only payments and a 30-year amortization with no prepayment penalty.

Albuquerque, N.M. — Houlihan-Parnes has arranged a 43,900-square-foot lease at Ladera Shopping Center, a retail center located in Albuquerque. Built in 1986, the property totals 128,712 square feet. ARC Thrift Stores will now occupy the anchor space, a former grocery store, at the center. Ed Graf and Ted Sannella of Houlihan-Parnes arranged the lease and secured a $2.8 million loan for the tenant improvement buildout on behalf of the landlord, an entity doing business as Ladera Partners LLC. Albuquerque, N.M. — Westwood Financial has sold Sycamore Plaza, a 37,442-square-foot shopping center located in Albuquerque, for an undisclosed price. Petsmart anchors the property, which was fully occupied at the time of sale. Other tenants include Sally Beauty, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Stretch Zone, GNC, Super Cuts and GameStop. CBRE National Retail Partners represented Westwood in the transaction.

Albuquerque, N.M. — Hanley Investment Group Real Estate Advisors has arranged the sale of a 3,331-square-foot single-tenant retail property located in Albuquerque. Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers occupies the building on a 15-year, triple-net lease. Bill Asher, Jeff Lefko and Jeremy McChesney of Hanley represented the seller and developer, TradeCor LLC, in the transaction, in association with ParaSell Inc. Greg Swedelson and Jon-Eric Greene of SSG Realty Partners represented the buyer, an undisclosed private investor.

Farmington, N.M. — Newmark has brokered the sale of a single-tenant retail building located at 5200 E. Main St. in Farmington. Johnston Real Estate Farmington sold the asset to an undisclosed public REIT for $6.5 million. Matt Berres, Samer Khalil and Karick Brown of Newmark’s Net Lease Capital Markets group, along with John Ransom of Colliers, represented the seller in the deal. Ashley HomeStore occupies the property on a long-term, passive double net-lease basis. The retail furniture store has more than 2,000 locations in 60 countries.

Albuquerque, N.M. — Quantum Real Estate Advisors has arranged the sale of The Shoppes at Alameda, a retail property located at 3410 Highway 528 in Albuquerque. A Florida-based private real estate investor acquired the asset from a California-based private real estate investment firm for $6.6 million. At the time of sale, the property was 100 percent occupied. Current tenants include Jason’s Deli, Starbucks Coffee, The Joint, Baskin Robbins, uBreakiFix, Minerva Canna and other local retailers.
