Atlanta — JLL has arranged the sale of Marketplace at Buckhead, a 102,864-square-foot shopping center located in Atlanta’s Buckhead district. Sterling Organization purchased the property for an undisclosed price. Jim Hamilton, Brad Buchanan and Andrew Kahn of JLL represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction. Built in 1958 and renovated in 1997 and 2013, the property was fully leased at the time of sale. Tenants include Willy’s Mexicana Grill, Jersey Mike’s Subs and Salon Lofts.

Woodstock, Ga. —Joint venture partners CBL Properties and Horizon Group Properties have secured a $79.3 million loan for the refinancing of The Outlet Shoppes of Atlanta, a retail outlet property located in Woodstock. The 10-year, fixed-rate financing replaces two existing loans with a total balance of $69.5 million that were set to mature this November. The property features 103 retailers, including American Eagle Outfitters, Auntie Anne’s, Athleta, Banana Republic Factory Store, Champion, Forever 21 and GNC, among others.

Cumming, Ga. — Timber Development has sold a retail center located in Cumming, roughly 40 miles northeast of Atlanta, for $2.8 million. Built in 2019, the property was fully leased at the time of sale to four tenants, including AT&T and Jersey Mike’s, at the time of sale. Ari Ravi and Nate Timmons of Ripco brokered the transaction.

Snellville, Ga. — Three new tenants have signed leases at The Shoppes at Webb Gin, a retail center located in Snellville, roughly 30 miles outside Atlanta. Browlash and Club Pilates will occupy 1,200 and 1,625 square feet, respectively. DRIPBar will also open at the property in January, in a 1,675-square-foot space. Built in 2006 on 15.3 acres, the center is leased to tenants including Crunch Fitness, PetSmart, popshelf and Dollar Tree. Louie Granteed of Tobin represented the seller, an entity doing business as Monarch at Acworth Crossing LLC, in the transaction. Collin Cambas and Johnny Craig of Matthews Real Estate Investment Services represented the buyer, an entity doing business as Acworth Properties LLC.

Starbucks signed a 10-year net lease at the freestanding property in Byron, Ga.

Byron, Ga. — Halpern Enterprises Inc. has completed the development of a 2,600-square-foot build-to-suit property in Byron. Starbucks Coffee will occupy the freestanding building on a 10-year net lease. Brad Oppenheimer, Caleb Adams and Cary Halpern of Halpern Enterprises led the project.
