Kissimmee, Fla. — SRS Real Estate Partners has brokered the $28.4 million sale of WaterStar Orlando, a 79,680-square-foot shopping center under construction in Kissimmee, roughly 18 miles outside Orlando. Equinox Development Properties is the seller and developer of the center, which is scheduled to open within the next few months. Portage, Ind. — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the $4 million sale of Diamond Plaza, a 26,524-square-foot retail property in Portage. Tarek Chbeir of Marcus & Millichap secured and represented the buyer, a private investor. Josh Caruana, broker of record in Indiana, assisted in closing the transaction.
Paw Paw, Mich. — Fitness concept FitStop24 has signed a 3,422-square-foot retail lease in Paw Paw. Bloom City Club Cannabis leases the other half of the building, which is located on Red Arrow Highway. Michael Murphy of Gerdom Realty & Investment represented the undisclosed landlord in the lease. FitStop24 now operates 15 locations in Michigan and Indiana.

Dallas — Dallas-based brand EoS Fitness has acquired gym chain Texans Fit, taking over and rebranding five locations in metro Houston. This acquisition marks 75 open gyms for EoS, which opened its first Texas location in Euless in January. Services as the former Texans Fit gyms will continue uninterrupted, and all employees have been offered the option to continue their employment. Another location is scheduled to open in Spring, Texas, later this month.

The partnership, which is doing business as FLA BPI LLC, broke ground on the project April 4. The 1.7-acre property is situated within the northern portion of a three-acre site acquired by the partnership in 2016. Bossier City, La. — The Cordish Cos. has announced an agreement to acquire Diamond Jacks Casino & Hotel, located in Bossier City in northwest Louisiana. Subject to approval by the Louisiana Gaming Control Board, Cordish plans to redevelop the property into a casino resort and entertainment destination. Closed since March 2020, the development will be the first in the state of Louisiana under Cordish’s Live! brand, which offers dining, entertainment, casino, hotel and sports-anchored entertainment spaces.
