Milford, Conn. — Colliers has brokered the sale of Liberty Rock Shopping Center, a 175,000-square-foot shopping center in Milford, located in the southern central part of the state. Tenants at Liberty Rock Shopping Center include Ocean State Job Lot, Dollar Tree, Walgreens and Taco Bell. John Cafasso and Ian Hunt of Colliers represented the seller and procured the buyer, a locally based development and investment firm, in the transaction. Both parties requested anonymity.

Hoffner Commerce

Orlando, Fla. — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the $22 million sale of Hoffner Commerce Center, a 93,749-square-foot retail property in Orlando. Located at 5449 S. Semoran Blvd., the 53-suite building was 93 percent occupied at the time of sale by tenants including Herbalife, Labcorp and State Farm Auto Insurance. Salim Valiani and Andrew Jaworski of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, Hoffner Center LLC, and procured the buyer, Arturo Borges of Avanti Way Capital, in the transaction.

Battle Creek, Mich. — NAI Wisinski of West Michigan has arranged the sale of Minges Creek Plaza in Battle Creek. The 72,000-square-foot shopping center was fully leased at the time of sale to tenants such as Jo-Ann, Biggby Coffee, Xfinity, Supercuts, Tropical Smoothie Café, The UPS Store and LA Insurance. Jodi Milks of NAI Wisinski represented the seller, which purchased the center in 2013 following a foreclosure and made property improvements. NAI Wisinski will handle property management and leasing for the new owner.

Centers Dynamic Partners and United Growth acquired the property from Vail Commercial for $19.7 million. Best Buy and Fitness 19 are tenants at the 70,418-square-foot shopping center, which is situated on 7.6 acres.
