Situated within Woodlands Plaza, the property was formerly occupied by Cocos and vacant at the time of sale. Michael Schiff of NAI represented both the buyer, SSA California Properties LLC, and the seller, Barsky Family Limited Partnership, in the transaction. The new owner plans to open and operate a breakfast restaurant.

Dave’s Hot Chicken and Crave Cookies will open at Northeast Shopping Center in Philadelphia, leasing 2,995 and 1,279 square feet, respectively. Additionally, J. Crew Factory and Honeygrow will open locations at Lawrence Park Shopping Center, a retail center located in Broomall, roughly 30 miles outside Philadelphia. J. Crew will open a 4,150 square-foot-store and Honeygrow will occupy 1,999 square feet. All of the tenants are scheduled to open this year.

Houston — Hospitality group Noble 33 has announced plans to open two restaurant concepts at The Pavilion at The Allen shopping center in Houston. Toca Madera will occupy 11,103 square feet with a seat count of 393, and Meduza Mediterrania will comprise 9,732 square feet with a 289-seat occupancy. The openings are scheduled for this fall and early next year, respectively. Noble 33’s in-house design firm Monochrome Concept oversees both concepts. Fayetteville, Ark. — Fast casual franchise Slim Chickens has signed a deal to expand into Southeast Michigan with 25 restaurants. Partners Brad DeLange, Todd DeLange and Doug Broadright will lead the restaurant’s Great Lakes division and bring the brand to locations in the Detroit and Ann Arbor metropolitan areas. Slim Chickens has opened more than 225 locations in the U.S. and the U.K. and has more than 1,100 restaurants in development.
