Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the $2.9 million sale of a two-building, six-suite retail center located at 4321–4323 8th St. S. in Wisconsin Rapids. Clothing retailer Maurices and Mattress Firm anchor the property, which was fully leased at the time of sale. Built in 2007, the center sits on 1.6 acres and totals 10,900 square feet, according to LoopNet. Whitewater, Wis. — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the $3.6 million sale of Whitewater Plaza, a 24,211-square-foot shopping center in Whitewater, roughly 50 miles southwest of Milwaukee. Tenants at the property, which was 94 percent occupied at the time of sale, include Jimmy Johns, Anytime Fitness, Cozumel Mexican Restaurant and Beijing Buffet. Dominic Sulo and Sam Malato of Marcus & Millichap represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction. Todd Lindblom assisted in closing the transaction as the firm’s broker of record in the state. 

Boscobel and Howards Grove, Wis. — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the $3.2 million sale of two Piggly Wiggly-occupied retail properties located in Boscobel and Howards Grove. The buildings comprise 30,700 and 24,268 square feet, respectively. Ben Kohl and Mitchell Kiven of Marcus & Millichap represented the undisclosed seller in the transaction. 

Manitowoc, Wis. — Axiom Realty has acquired Park Plaza, a 110,266-square-foot retail center located in Manitowoc. Time Equities sold the property, which was 71.7 percent leased at the time of sale. Hobby Lobby anchors the center. Other tenants at the property include Community First Credit Union, Family Dollar and Cricket Wireless. Erin Patton of Patton Wiles Fuller Group of Marcus & Millichap’s Institutional Property Advisors (IPA) brokered the transaction. Prior to closing, Axiom negotiated a 28,894-square-foot lease with a new tenant that will bring occupancy at the center to 97.9 percent.
