Atlanta – France Media will begin publication of California Centers effective with the September 2014 issue, which will be distributed at the ICSC Western Division Conference October 1-2 in San Diego.
Atlanta – France Media, Inc., publisher of Shopping Center Business and Western Real Estate Business, has acquired California Centers Magazine from founder and publisher Dan Parker. California Centers subscribers can expect expanded coverage of the market, leaning on France Media’s strong editorial and sales teams, combined with California Centers’ tradition of covering expanding retailers, new shopping centers and leases in the market.
France Media will begin publication of California Centers effective with the September 2014 issue, which will be distributed at the ICSC Western Division Conference October 1-2 in San Diego.
Parker, who also serves as president of Laguna Hills, California-based retail investment, landlord and tenant representation firm Parker & Associates, Inc., began publishing California Centers magazine in 1990 to provide coverage of retailers and retail deals in the state. Over the years the magazine grew in circulation, size and stature. Parker will continue to operate Parker & Associates with his son, Braden.
In addition to Shopping Center Business, France Media, Inc., publishes five regional commercial real estate magazines including Western Real Estate Business, and numerous sector specific publications such as Student Housing Business, Retail Facility Business, and Seniors Housing Business.
