New York – JLL has hired Robert Gibson as vice chairman to expand the company’s retail platform in Manhattan. Gibson will be responsible for the growth of retail tenant and agency leasing in the New York market. Gibson was most recently a vice chairman with Cushman & Wakefield’s Manhattan office, and has more than 25 years of industry experience. Stephen Schlegel, market director of JLL’s New York tri-state region, says, “The addition of Gibson to our existing retail practice creates a robust platform for new and existing JLL clients, and it rounds out the expansion of JLL’s New York office to provide complete services across all business lines.”
