Atlanta – The California-based brand Johnny Was will open its ninth women’s apparel store at Atlanta’s Phipps Plaza. The store will be the brand’s first location in Georgia. Johnny Was operated as a wholesale manufacturer for more than 25 years before opening its first retail branch. The retail store will feature a mix of antique textiles, industrial collectibles and handcrafted furniture. This will be the second location to include the Johnny Was Silk Lab, a concept that focuses on the brand’s silk prints.
