La Palmera Adds New Tenants to its Lineup

Corpus Christi, Texas — Nine retailers have opened this year at the 1 million-square-foot mall.

Corpus Christi, Texas  — LongHorn Steakhouse is among the four new tenants that have joined La Palmera, a 1 million-square-foot super regional mall in Corpus Christi. Opening in 2013, the 6,500-square-foot restaurant will be the first Coastal Bend location for the steakhouse. The company operates more than 370 restaurants in 35 states. Papaya and Flip Flop Shoes have also recently opened stores at the center. Pandora will open its 1,703-square-foot location at La Palmera in time for holiday shopping.

Other stores that will open this year at the mall include White House Black Market, Soma Intimates, 2b and Traffic Shoes. La Palmera includes more than 100 retailers and restaurants, including Dillard’s, JCPenney and Macy’s. IMI and Trademark Property acquired La Palmera in July 2008. Following a $50 million renovation, the mall features a new outdoor main entrance, 600-seat food court and 4,500-gallon aquarium and children’s ocean-themed play area.
