Liberty Center Undergoes $20 Million Renovation in Suburban Cincinnati

Liberty Township, Ohio — Liberty Center, a mixed-use property located in the Cincinnati suburb of Liberty Township, is undergoing $20 million in renovations. Centennial, powered by Lincoln, serves as asset manager for the Apollo-owned property and is leading the execution of these initiatives.

Plans for the 64-acre campus include tenant upgrades, the addition of first-to-market entertainment concepts and customer experience enhancements. Development approvals for a hotel and 300-unit multifamily component were also recently secured.

Dick’s Sporting Goods is remodeling its space with interior upgrades and the addition of experiential amenities such as batting cages and golf simulators. The retailer extended its lease for 10 years.

B&B Theatres is upgrading its theater and adding several new entertainment options with three first-to-market experiences for Southwest Ohio: ScreenX, a 270-degree immersive viewing format; 4DX, a multi-sensory motion theater experience; and screenplay!, an interactive, family-focused auditorium concept.

Additional wayfinding, placemaking and site enhancement projects are planned over the coming year, including upgraded furniture, outdoor gathering spaces and parking improvements.

Opened in 2015, Liberty Center totals more than 800,000 square feet of retail, dining and entertainment space along with 75,000 square feet of office space, a 240-unit luxury residential community and a 130-room AC Hotel by Marriott.
