O’Connor/Wafra Acquires Carmel Plaza

Carmel, Calif. — Seller Macerich owned the center since 1998.

Carmel, Calif.  — O’Connor Capital Partners and Wafra Investment Advisory Group via O’Connor/Wafra Retail Partners have acquired the 111,781-square-foot Carmel Plaza in Carmel from Macerich.

The lifestyle center features tenants Tiffany & Co., Louis Vuitton, Bottega Venetta, J. Crew and Anthropologie.

Carmel Plaza is the only shopping center in downtown Carmel, according to O’Connor Capital Partners. The acquisition of this center marks the sixth transaction between the two companies. Eastdil represented the seller, Macerich, in the transaction. According to local media reports, the center changed hands for $52 million.
