Overland Crossing Sells for $27.4 Million

Overland Park, Kan. — An entity arranged by GDA Cos. purchased the property from Continental Properties Co. Inc.

Overland Park, Kan. — Overland Crossing, a 174,497-square-foot shopping center in Overland Park, has sold for $27.4 million. An entity arranged by GDA Cos. purchased the property free and clear of debt. Continental Properties Co. Inc. sold the center, which is situated on 19.6 acres at the intersection of Metcalf Avenue and 119th Street. Overland Crossing is anchored by Burlington Coat Factory, Golfsmith and Office Max. The project was completed in phases between 1997 and 2000.

Danny Kaufman and Amy Sands with HFF represented the seller in the transaction. Continental Properties Co. Inc. is a real estate development company based in suburban Milwaukee. GDA, based in Greenwood Village, Colo., is a real estate acquisitions company that owns and operates more than 84 properties.
