West Palm Beach, Fla. — Palm Beach Outlets, Palm Beach County’s first outlet center, opened with a charity event, ribbon cutting and celebrity appearances on Feb. 14 and throughout Valentine’s weekend. More than 200,000 shoppers visited the approximately 400,000-square-foot outlet center during opening weekend.
This development features more than 100 stores including Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, J.Crew | crewcuts Factory, Ann Taylor Factory Store, Banana Republic Factory Store, Kenneth Cole, Talbots, Under Armour Factory Store, and White House | Black Market. The developers are New England Development and Eastern Real Estate. The outlets are directly off Interstate 95 on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard in West Palm Beach and is the only outlet shopping destination within 55 miles.
An adjacent retail center will open this fall with tenants including Whole Foods Market, Nordstrom Rack, Sports Authority and T.J. Maxx. The project is expected to have a $319 million economic impact on the area, according to New England Development.
