SyWest Buys Three-Center Portfolio in Phoenix

San Rafael, Calif. — The firm’s acquisitions total $121.7 million. 

Casa Paloma in Chandler, Ariz., is a 130,422-square-foot shopping center that SyWest recently acquired.San Rafael, Calif.  — SyWest Development has purchased three shopping centers in the Phoenix area. Casa Paloma is a 130,422-square-foot center on 13.7 acres in Chandler, Ariz. It sold for $31 million and is anchored by AJ’s Fine Foods, ULTA, Banana Republic, Gap, Sur La Table, Talbots and Jos. A Bank. Warner Ranch Plaza in Tempe, Ariz., is a 155,489-square-foot grocery-anchored center (Fry’s Marketplace) that sold for $26 million. The land area is 15.2 acres. Lastly, the Shoppes at Gilbert Commons is a 415,400-square-foot regional center in Gilbert, Ariz., that sold for $64.77 million.  Major tenants include T.J. Maxx, Sports Authority, Ross, Staples, Old Navy ULTA and Petco. Donahue Schriber was the seller and Todd Goodman of CBRE was the broker in each transaction.
