Whole Foods Market to Open at Westford Valley Marketplace

Burlington, Mass. — Whole Foods Market will operate a 43,000-square-foot store.

Burlington, Mass.  — Whole Foods Market has signed a lease to open a 43,000-square-foot store at Westford Valley Marketplace in Burlington. Other tenants at the 143,000-square-foot neighborhood center include CVS/pharmacy, Jo-Ann Fabrics & Crafts, Dunkin’ Donuts, Starbucks, GameStop, Chipotle and Subway. The space is currently occupied by Market Basket, with Whole Foods Market expected to open in 2016. Don Mace with KeyPoint Partners LLC brokered the lease. Westford Valley Marketplace LLC owns the property.

“We’re extremely pleased to add Whole Foods Market to our mix of merchants at Westford Valley Marketplace,” says Carol Kuosman, vice president of property and asset management at KeyPoint Partners. “This will be a vibrant and welcome addition to this shopping center, and to the Westford community.”

Whole Foods Market was founded in 1980 in Austin, Texas. The natural and organic food retailer operates more than 325 stores in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom..
