Concord, N.C. — A joint venture between Idlewood Capital and Morgan Co. have acquired South Union Shopping Center, an 80,184-square-foot shopping center located in Concord, a northeast suburb of Charlotte. Food Lion anchors the center. Following the acquisition, the joint venture plans to complete a façade renovation and refresh of the property, which will include new storefronts, updated signage and new awnings and canopies.
Designed by Little Diversified Architectural Consulting, renovations are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2027 and conclude in the summer. Food Lion will remain open throughout construction.
