Miami, Fla. — Newmark Retail has arranged an 8,621-square-foot lease for the coastal-inspired restaurant, The Hampton Social, in Miami. The Hampton Social will join other tenants at Mary Brickell Village, an open-air, urban dining and shopping destination featuring over 200,000 square feet of open-air retail space. Designed by Parker Hospitality and Chicago-based architect Mark Knauer, the space at Mary Brickell Village will be The Hampton Social’s ninth location. NRF: Holiday Sales in 2021 Increased 14.1 Percent over 2020

Washington, D.C. — The National Retail Federation (NRF) has reported that retail sales during last year’s November to December holiday season increased 14.1 percent, or $886.7 billion over those in 2020 ($777.3 billion). The 2021 numbers were greater than what the NRF had predicted and set a new record despite ongoing headwinds such as supply chain issues and the spread of the COVID-19 Omicron variant. Attleboro, Mass. and Baltimore — Inland Private Capital Corp. (IPC) has sold two BJ’s Wholesale Club locations in Massachusetts and Maryland. IPC facilitated the sale on behalf of its 1031 investment program East Coast Wholesale Portfolio DST. The portfolio includes a 115,660-square-foot BJ’s Wholesale Club located at 287 Washington St. in Attleboro, Massachusetts; and an 89,348-square-foot BJ’s Wholesale Club located at 4701 O’Donnell St. in Baltimore.
