Morrisville, N.C. — Architecture near a 14-screen Stone Theatre will be a focal point.
Morrisville, N.C. — CASTO has announced construction will begin this month on the next phases of development at the lifestyle center at Park West Village, a 100-acre mixed-use project in Cary, N.C.
The new construction will add 200,000 square feet of retail including a 55,000-square-foot, 14-screen cinema operated by Stone Theatres, formerly Consolidated Theatres, which was founded by Herman Stone. A water feature unique to Stone Theatres in the Southeast will be a prominent element of the architecture near the theater’s entrance.
Other retailers include a 52,000-square-foot Gander Mountain outdoor superstore and a 6,000-square-foot wine and food shop The Wine Guy Bistro, based out of Columbus, Ohio.
Park West Village includes a town center district, a community center with retail anchors including Target, TJ Maxx and Rack Room Shoes. Demographics in the primary trade area include a median age of 35 and a median household annual income of approximately $104,000. Phase one opened in fall 2011. Future phases of the community include 275 residential units, 120,000 square feet of office space, a fitness center and an additional 120,000 square feet of retail space.
