Washington, D.C. — MRP Realty has received $191.8 million in development financing for Phase I of Bryant Street, a mixed-use project in northeast Washington, D.C. Phase I includes three mid-rise buildings comprising 487 multifamily units, a nine-screen Alamo Drafthouse Cinema and an additional 38,482 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Dallas — Seritage Growth Properties has broken ground on Park Heritage, a mixed-use project located at the intersection of the LBJ Freeway and Preston Road in north Dallas that could ultimately span as much as 2 million square feet. Essentials PetCare to Include Clinics at Nine Walmart Stores in Dallas Area

Dallas — Essentials PetCare will open nine walk-in clinics in Dallas-Fort Worth area Walmart stores in the coming weeks. Essentials PetCare opened its first Walmart location in 2016 in Port Richey, Florida. In Texas, the clinics will be located in Anna, Cross Roads, Fort Worth, Frisco, Gainesville, Kaufman, Prosper, Royse City and Weatherford. The clinic in Kaufman will open May 22 with the other clinics following in June. Centennial Unveils Green Space Vision for Two Malls in Illinois

Vernon Hills and Aurora, Ill. —Centennial has unveiled its new placemaking concepts at two malls in Illinois — Hawthorn Mall in Vernon Hills and Fox Valley Mall in Aurora. Centennial will transform the malls’ center courts into a multi-use environment that will enhance consumer experience. Centennial will invest $12 million into the courtyards, which total 31,115 square feet. The new courtyards will be surrounded by dining and entertainment options. The design team includes architect Stantec and general contractor Graycor Construction Co. A timeline for construction was not released.

Towson, Md. — Developers Greenberg Gibbons and Caves Valley Partners have signed Whole Foods Market to anchor the retail component of Towson Row, a $350 million mixed-use development in downtown Towson, Maryland. Whole Foods will occupy 45,000 square feet and include a 6,200-square-foot mezzanine and outdoor dining terrace. Greenville, S.C. — Topgolf opened its 50th venue in the U.S. this past Friday in Greenville, South Carolina. The three-tier, 55,000-square-foot driving range and bar is located at 201 Clifton Court, 10 miles from downtown Greenville and directly off Interstate 85. King of Prussia, Pa. — German discount grocer Aldi will open a 19,230-square-foot store at the 119,000-square-foot King of Prussia Center, located 20 miles northwest of Philadelphia in Montgomery County. Jeffrey Cohen and Nelson Wax of CBRE represented the landlord, D&P Associates, in the lease negotiations. The family-owned business developed the mall beginning in the 1980s.

Denver — Confluent Development and Kelmore Development have broken ground on The Boulevard at Lowry, a commercial mixed-use redevelopment project in Denver’s Lowry neighborhood. Situated on 1.5 acres, the infill development will feature 140,000 square feet of restaurant, retail and office space. A 25,000-square-foot Lucky’s Market will anchor the property.
