Oakbrook, Ill. — Graycor Construction Co. has completed Wonderverse, a 45,000-square-foot entertainment space at Oakbrook Center in suburban Chicago. The project features a hybrid of physical and multi-media experiences, interactive installations, attractions and experiences, allowing visitors to step into their favorite Sony Pictures stories. Sony is the project’s owner. The space includes escape rooms, virtual reality adventures, bumper cars, racing simulators, an arcade and speakeasy. The project team included Scenario as the owner’s representative and EXP as the architect of record.

Mauldin, S.C. — Reedy River Retail at SVN Blackstream has arranged the acquisition of a 10.9-acre development site located at 1116 Ashmore Bridge Road in Mauldin, roughly 10 miles south of Greenville, S.C. The buyer, Atlanta-based Venture South Investments, plans to develop a Publix-anchored shopping center at the site. Dustin Tenney and Daniel Holloway of Reedy River Retail represented the buyer in the $4.6 million transaction. Braselton, Ga. — Branch Properties has acquired a site in Braselton for the development of Braselton Village, a 70,987-square-foot retail center. A 48,387-square-foot Publix will anchor the 20-acre development. The center will also feature five outparcels ranging from one to two acres. Completion is scheduled for the second quarter of 2025.

Mesa, Ariz. — Peak Southern LLC has purchased a 5.8-acre land site in the Phoenix suburb of Mesa. Signal Butte & Southern LLC sold the property for $3 million. John Jackson and Kristina Remon of Colliers in Arizona arranged the transaction. The buyer plans to develop a retail center on the property. According to Colliers, the property will be divided into three pad sites that are available for purchase, build-to-suit or ground lease, and the construction schedule will be dependent upon the execution of purchases and leases.
