Concord Summit Secures $24.5 Million Construction Financing for Mall Redevelopment in Phoenix

Phoenix — Concord Summit Capital has secured a $24.5 million construction loan to finance the redevelopment of Metrocenter, a mall located in Phoenix. Situated on 64 acres, the property will be transformed into a mixed-use development featuring 112,000 square foot of retail space, as well as 1,218 residential townhome units. Kevin O’Grady, Daniel Eidson and Ben Applebaum of Concord Summit arranged the financing on behalf of the developers, Concord Wilshire and TLG Investment Partners. Atlanta — The Cobb-Marietta Coliseum and Exhibit Hall Authority, owner and operator of the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, has selected a team of locally based firms to manage the expansion and renovation of the convention center. Orlando, Fla. — Live Nation will open a 3,500-seat entertainment venue at Westcourt Sports and Entertainment District, a 900,000-square-foot mixed-use project currently underway in downtown Orlando. Construction on the facility is scheduled to begin early next year, with an anticipated opening in 2027. Upon completion, the store will total approximately 101,000 square feet and feature pharmacy pick-up spaces, a large curbside service area, seven-pump fuel station and a car wash. Marquette Cos. Receives Civic Approval for 20,000-Square-Foot Retail Project in Houston

Houston — Marquette Cos. has received approval from the Houston Planning Commission for a 20,000-square-foot retail project that will be located near White Oak Music Hall in Houston. The new, single-story building is scheduled for a 2025 delivery and will be marketed to bar, restaurant, coffee shop and other retail users. The development will be situated across the street from Tempo at White Oak, a 304-unit multifamily project currently underway by Marquette.

Kimberton Whole Foods to Open 14,000-Square-Foot Store in Metro Philadelphia

Exton, Pa. — Kimberton Whole Foods will open a new, 14,000-square-foot store in Exton, roughly 30 miles outside Philadelphia. Construction on the building will begin this month, with the opening scheduled for spring 2026. The store will be situated within Eagleview Town Center, within the 800-acre Eagleview mixed-use community. Hankin Group is the developer and landlord.
