Sarasota, Fla. — CBRE has arranged the $8.8 million sale of Oaks Plaza, a 38,837-square-foot retail center, and an adjacent parcel ground leased to Walgreens in Sarasota. Mark Shellabarger and Ari Ravi of CBRE represented the seller, a New York City-based private investment company, in the disposition of the property to a Tampa Bay-based private investment group. Located at 3880-3916 Central Sarasota Parkway, Oaks Plaza features two buildings, which were 57 percent leased at the time of sale to six tenants including Skillets, Tropical Smoothie Café and Town Square.

Orlando, Fla. — Coldwell Banker Commercial Sunstar Realty has arranged the $3.3 million sale of a 20,780-square-foot retail property located at 801 N. John Young Parkway in Orlando. Ray Brunner of Coldwell Banker Commercial Sunstar Realty represented the seller in the disposition of the property to an undisclosed private investor. Built in 1980, the retail property is currently leased to the Majestic Restaurant Lounge and Event Center.

Danny Finkle, Brad Peterson, Eric Williams, Whitaker Leonhardt and Kim Flores of JLL represented the seller in the transaction. The buyer was not disclosed. Palm Springs, Fla. — CBRE has arranged the $3.8 million sale of Capitol Mall, a mixed-use property located at 3745 South Congress Ave. in Palm Springs. Capitol Mall consists of a 23,698-square-foot multi-tenant retail building and a 7,250-square-foot warehouse. A South Florida-based private investor operating under the name Capitol Mall LLC acquired the property from Congressional Developers Inc. David Donnellan and Patricia Friend of CBRE represented the buyer in the transaction.

Jacksonville, Fla. — CBRE has arranged the sale of St. Johns Commons, a 71,352-square-foot, Winn-Dixie-anchored shopping center in Jacksonville. Dennis Carson and Casey Rosen of CBRE represented the seller, an affiliate of Phillips Edison & Co., in the transaction. An affiliate of Ash Properties purchased the fully leased center for an undisclosed price.
