Salina, Kan. — Blue West Capital has arranged the $9 million sale of Sunset Plaza in Salina, a city in central Kansas located roughly 100 miles north of Wichita. Dillons, a division of Kroger, anchors the 126,606-square-foot shopping center. The Dillons store was remodeled in 2019, and a fuel center was added in 2020. Originally constructed in 1960, Sunset Plaza was nearly fully leased at the time of sale. Wichita, Kan. — Blue West Capital has negotiated the sale of Killarney Center, a 22,800-square-foot retail property in Wichita. Located at 3101 N. Rock Road, the center is home to Golftec, T-Mobile, Oh Yeah China Bistro, Oreck Clean Home and The Health Connection. The sale also included a Scooters Coffee ground lease. Shawn Dickmann and Carly Kelly of Blue West Capital represented the buyer, an out-of-state, private real estate investment company. The seller and sales price were not released.
PEBB Enterprises, Contrarian Capital Sell Shopping Center in Suburban Kansas City for $16.8 Million
Overland Park, Kan. — PEBB Enterprises and Contrarian Capital Management have sold the Pinnacle Village shopping center in the Kansas City suburb of Overland Park for $16.8 million. Cherry Hill Properties was the buyer. PEBB and Contrarian purchased Pinnacle Village in May 2018 and enhanced the 108,729-square-foot center through leasing activity and property improvements. Pittsburg, Kan. — Marshalls will open a 25,000-square-foot store at Pittsburg Town Center in Pittsburg, a city in Southeast Kansas. Other tenants at the property include The Home Depot, Chili’s, Buffalo Wild Wings and UPS. David Block and Phil Peck of Block & Co. Inc.
