Franklin, Tenn. — Nordstrom Rack will open a 24,000 square foot store in Franklin, roughly 20 miles outside Nashville, marking the fifth location for the brand in the state. Scheduled to open in fall 2024, the store will be situated within Cool Springs Market. Other tenants at the retail center include Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kroger and DSW. Kite Realty Group Trust is the landlord at the property.
Houston — Three food-and-beverage tenants have signed leases totaling 12,773 square feet at East River, a 150-acre mixed-use development currently underway in Houston. La Cantina by La Calle Tacos and Kyuramen will occupy 3,357 and 4,416 square feet, respectively, beginning summer 2024. City Cellars HTX will also open at the property next spring, in a 5,000-square-foot space. Midway is developing the project, and Parkway is the property manager.
Plainfield, Ind. — Axe-throwing entertainment concept LumberjAXE has signed a 5,013-square-foot lease at The Shops at Perry Crossing, a retail center located in Plainfield, roughly 20 miles outside Indianapolis. Upon completion, the venue will feature 11 total axe-throwing lanes, a children’s target, VIP room, pool table, digital dart boards and touch tunes. JLL manages the property.
Houston — LEVCOR has added five new tenants at MarqE, a shopping center located in Houston. Experiential concept Sloomoo Institute now occupies 23,000 square feet at the development, marking the fourth flagship venue in the country for the brand. Immersive Gamebox has also opened at the property within a 3,404-square-foot space, and Glownar Aesthetics has signed a 1,200-square-foot lease. Los Angeles and New York City — Apparel retailer BOGNER has opened two stores in Los Angeles and New York City, marking the first locations in the country for the German brand. Located on Madison Avenue, the New York City store comprises 3,400 square feet, and the Los Angeles store occupies 2,500 square feet on the Sunset Strip.
Washington, D.C. — Eatertainment operator State of Play has announced plans to open an 8,546-square-foot Flight Club darts venue in Washington, D.C. Scheduled to open summer 2024 and marking the 13th location for the brand, Flight Club D.C. will be situated within 655 New York, a 756,000-square-foot mixed-use development. Other tenants at 655 New York, which features 79,000 square feet of retail space, include Rumi’s Kitchen, Capital Burger, Pearl’s Bagels, Kinship, Metier and Compass Coffee.
Plymouth Meeting, Pa. — Norman’s Hallmark has opened a 7,280-square-foot store at The Metroplex in Plymouth Meeting. The store offers a complete line of Hallmark products, cards and Keepsake Ornaments, as well as apparel, accessories, books, stationery, games, home décor, candy and gourmet foods. Norman’s Hallmark currently operates in 75 locations.
New York City — Brazilian restaurant Fogo de Chão has signed a 5,009-square-foot lease in Manhattan in New York City. Situated within The Oculus at Westfield World Trade Center, the venue is scheduled to open in 2024. Harrison designed the space, which will feature an expansive dining room and open churrasco grill. This marks the ninth location for the brand in metro New York City.
Manhasset, N.Y. — Retailers have signed new leases totaling 50,000 square feet at The Gate at Manhasset, a shopping center located in Manhasset on Long Island.
