Long Branch, N.J. — Three new tenants will join the roster at The Shops at Pier Village, a retail center comprising over 140,000 square feet in Long Branch. Lifestyle brand Salt Life will occupy 3,453 square feet; beauty retailer Strand Salon will lease 5,000 square feet; and healthcare concept Remedy Realm will take over 1,729 square feet. Newmark Arranges 4,500-Square-Foot Lease with GOLFTEC in Manhattan

New York City— Newmark Retail has arranged a lease with GOLFTEC, a golf instruction company, at 10 E. 40th Street in Midtown Manhattan. GOLFTEC will occupy 4,500 square feet of space at the ground-floor property, which comprises 8,000 square feet in total. Ariel Schuster and Tyler King of Newmark negotiated the lease on behalf of the landlord, Joseph P. Day Realty. This will be the flagship location for GOLFTEC, as well as its first standalone store in Manhattan.

The Home Depot to Open 136,000-Square-Foot Store in Trexlertown, Pennsylvania

Trexlertown, Pa. — The Home Depot will open a 136,000-square-foot store at Macungie Crossing, a 182,000-square-foot shopping center that is under construction in the Lehigh Valley community of Trexlertown. New York City-based RD Management is developing the project, construction of which is underway and expected to be complete next summer. The Atlanta-based home improvement retailer now operates about 70 stores in Pennsylvania.

Progressive Arranges 70,000-Square-Foot Lease with Target in Metro Los Angeles

Ontario, Calif. — Progressive Real Estate Partners has completed a lease with Target at Vineyard Freeway Center in Ontario, a 151,000-square-foot shopping center approximately 35 miles east of Los Angeles. Target will occupy 70,000 square feet of a building formerly leased to Kmart, which closed in 2018. Planet Fitness leased 24,000 square feet at the building earlier this year. Matthews Arranges $10.6 Million Sale of Retail Property Leased to CVS/pharmacy in Virginia Beach

Virginia Beach, Va. — Matthews Real Estate Investment Services has brokered the sale of a 13,225-square-foot store located at 1701 Independence Blvd. in Virginia Beach. The single-tenant property was leased to CVS/pharmacy at the time of sale. Preston Schwartz and Chad Kurz of Matthews represented the private seller in the transaction. Jason Maier of Stan Johnson Co. represented the undisclosed buyer, which acquired the property for $10.6 million. CVS/pharmacy has a little over 12 years remaining on the lease.
