New York City — Eyewear retailer Warby Parker has opened a 2,564-square-foot store in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn. The two-story building is located at 208 Flatbrush Ave., near the Barclays Center. Brian Katz and Scott Sher of Katz & Associates represented Warby Parker in the lease negotiations. Pintchick Associates Ltd. is the landlord.

Annapolis, Md. — Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW), the owner of Westfield Annapolis mall, has unveiled plans to renovate and improve the mall, while adding new tenants. URW will convert the mall’s 110,000-square-foot former Lord & Taylor department store into a new shopping district composed of boutiques, home design stores and experience-driven offerings. The new section of the mall is slated to open to the public in 2021. New York City — Fitness Factory Health Club has signed an 18,000-square-foot lease s at 475 Clermont, a 363-unit multifamily building in Brooklyn. The lease term is 10 years. The facility will feature weight and circuit training equipment and a spa, as well as specialty class and personal training services. Beyond the Fitness Factory lease, the building has 17,000 square feet of retail space available for lease. Jason Pennington, Andrew Clemens, Benjamin Weiner and Jessica Hedrington of RIPCO Real Estate represented the landlord, RXR Realty, in the lease negotiations.

Fayetteville, N.C. — CBL Properties has unveiled redevelopment plans for Phase I of the former Sears department store within Cross Creek Mall in Fayetteville. New-to-market Dave & Buster’s will occupy and operate the space, which is under construction. Chattanooga, Tenn.-based CBL also says it is looking add restaurants, specialty stores and other uses that will further enhance Cross Creek Mall. The Sears closed in January 2019. Houston — Levey Group has signed Victory Wine Group to a 23,000-square-foot lease at Northwest Place Industrial Park, Levey’s seven-acre business park in Houston’s Northwest submarket. Victory Wine is a wholesale wine distributor with locations in Houston, Dallas and Austin. The company’s newest location at Northwest Place features a storefront entrance and an air-conditioned warehouse.

Erie, Pa. — Entertainment concept Stumpy’s Hatchet House has signed a 5,800-square-foot lease at Liberty Center I shopping center in Erie, located approximately 130 miles north of Pittsburgh. The site will include 10 hatchet-throwing pits and aims to be a social gathering place with light snacks sold onsite. Guests can bring their own wine, beer and food. Other tenants of the 230,000-square-foot shopping center include regional grocery chain Top Friendly Markets, Peebles department store and PNC Bank. Overland Park, Kan. — MAG Capital Partners LLC has acquired a 43,000-square-foot retail building located at 12100 Blue Valley Parkway in Overland Park for an undisclosed price. The seller, Lukas Wine & Spirits Superstore, will lease back the property. Brendan McPherson of Polsinelli PC and Mary Garnett of Barnes & Thornburg LLP represented MAG Capital Partners, which is led by principals Dax T.S. Mitchell and Andrew Gi. Victor Saponari of Quantum Capital arranged acquisition financing through Deutsche Bank. Michael Kaider of CBRE represented the seller.

Washington, D.C. — Whole Foods Market has signed a 40,000-square-foot lease to anchor the Hartley apartment building within The Parks at Walter Reed in northwest Washington, D.C. The Parks is a 3.1 million-square-foot mixed-use development from the partnership of Hines, Urban Atlantic and Triden Development. Miami — UrbanX Group has inked new lease agreements with fast casual restaurant Chick-fil-A and clothing retailer Old Navy to occupy a total of 19,000 square feet along the Miami River.
