North American Properties Reveals First Retailers Joining $900 Million Mixed-Use Development in Metro Atlanta

Duluth, Ga. — North American Properties (NAP) has revealed its first retail tenant lineup at Revel, its $900 million, Infinite Energy Center-anchored mixed-use development in Duluth. Korean Fashion Retailer Signs 10,000-Square-Foot Lease in East Rutherford, New Jersey

East Rutherford, N.J. — Korean fashion retailer ALAND has signed a 10,000-square-foot lease at American Dream, an upcoming mixed-use development in East Rutherford, a western suburb of New York City. The store will be ALAND’s second location in the United States after its Brooklyn store opened in 2018. Canadian developer Triple Five Group will open over 3 million square feet of retail, entertainment and food destinations at American Dream in October 2019.

Hill Partners Signs Four Tenants at Promenade at Coconut Creek

Coconut Creek, Fla. — Hill Partners Inc. has signed Naked Taco, Xfinity interactive retail store, Coconut Vibe and Zervos Group to leases totaling more than 9,000 square feet within Promenade at Coconut Creek. Naked Taco will occupy 5,796 square feet of space beginning in November. The restaurant will feature Mexican food and cocktails. Planet Fitness Signs 18,000-Square-Foot Retail Lease on Long Island

Long Island City, N.Y. — Planet Fitness has signed an 18,000-square-foot retail lease in Long Island City. The gym, which will be situated on the lower levels of the newly constructed 22-29 Northern Boulevard rental tower, is the company’s first property in Long Island City. Steven Baker and Thomas Galo of Winick Realty represented the landlord, Simon Baron Development, in the lease negotiations. Richard Chera of Crown Acquisitions represented Planet Fitness.

NRDC to Open Three Retailers Totaling 58,000 Square Feet in Burlington, New Jersey

Burlington, N.J. — National Realty & Development Corp. will open three new stores totaling 58,000 square feet at the Liberty Square Center in Burlington, a city located southwest of Trenton. The shopping center is anchored by a Walmart, Marshalls and HomeGoods. Planet Fitness will open a 25,000-square-foot location at the property. Ross Dress for Less will move into a 22,000-square-foot portion of a former Toys ‘R’ Us location. Five Below will occupy the remaining 11,000 square feet of the former Toys ‘R’ Us location.

Orlando, Fla. — Tavistock Development Co. has signed three leases with fitness studios to occupy space within Pixon, a 200-unit apartment complex with 32,500 square feet of retail space in Lake Nona Town Center.
