Novi, Mich. — Gerdom Realty & Investment has negotiated two leases at Thomasville Centre in Novi. Alchile Mexican Grill & Bar and Pho Mai Vietnamese restaurant are the newest tenants to join the center, which is located on Grand River Avenue. Alchile opened this spring, leasing 5,130 square feet. Pho Mai will open during the second half of this year and occupy 1,680 square feet. Joel Karboske of Gerdom represented the landlord, Mclaughlin Family Properties.

Much of the spotlight surrounding in-demand tenants at today’s shopping centers is focused on food and beverage and entertainment users. Fontana, Calif. — Progressive Real Estate Partners has signed Chuze Fitness to a 45,000-square-foot lease with Morningside Marketplace in Fontana. Chuze Fitness will occupy the space of a former Ralphs Grocery, leaving 12,000 square feet of space for a soon-to-be-named co-tenant. Minneapolis — Eleven Artisans, a brew pub and entertainment venue, has signed a 3,500-square-foot lease at the historic Handicraft Guild Building and Assembly Hall adjacent to the new City Club Apartments. The name Eleven Artisans comes from a community of 11 female artists who pioneered a creative movement in downtown Minneapolis in the early 1900s. New York City — The Feil Organization has completed the leasing of 488 Madison Ave., a 23-story, 447,000-square-foot building in New York City. The Feil Organization signed Mephisto Shoes to a 1,854-square-foot lease and Mighty Bowl to an 800-square-foot lease. Both are expected to open this fall. The building was originally delivered in 1948 and was formally known as the “Look Building,” for the defunct magazine. Chicago — Brown Bag Seafood Co. will open its newest location in Willis Tower in Chicago. The fast-casual seafood concept will be located in Catalog, the 300,000-square-foot dining and retail area at the base of the office tower, currently under construction. Willis Tower is undergoing a $500 million renovation project, the biggest transformation in the building’s 46-year history. The first phase is expected to be open to the public in late 2019.
