Meridian, Idaho — Hanley Investment Group Real Estate Advisors has brokered the sale of a newly constructed single-tenant property located in Meridian. Mister Car Wash will occupy the 5,381-square-foot property, which is situated on a one-acre parcel. Bill Asher, Carlos Lopez and Kevin Fryman of Hanley, in association with Jeff Selick of Oakmore Inc. and ParaSell Inc., represented the developer and seller, an affiliate of Cadence Capital Investments. Ralph Riedel of Cushman & Wakefield represented the buyer, a private investor based in Salt Lake City.

Chubbuck, Idaho — SimonCRE has acquired Pine Ridge Mall in Chubbuck, with plans to redevelop the 2.6 million-square-foot property into an open-air shopping center. Tenants at the mall include Hobby Lobby and Planet Fitness, which will retain their current spaces. Additionally, the developer has executed leases with Buckle, Shoe Show and Deseret Books. Redevelopment plans at the property, which is situated on 58 acres, include the addition of multiple outparcels.

Cincinnati — Cincinnati-based The Kroger Co. and Boise, Idaho-based Albertsons Cos. Inc. have announced plans to sell an additional 166 grocery stores to C&S Wholesale Grocers in a divestiture package. This marks an amendment to an existing agreement with the buyer, which will now acquire a total 579 stores in a $2.9 billion deal. (NYSE: ACI) have agreed to sell 413 stores across 17 states and Washington D.C. as part of the $24.6 billion merger between the two grocery giants. The buyer is C&S Wholesale Grocers, a New Hampshire-based grocery supply company overseeing brands including Piggly Wiggly and Grand Union. Meridian, Idaho — Wood Investments Cos. has secured refinancing totaling $39.1 million for two shopping centers located in Meridian, roughly 11 miles outside Boise. The first shopping center, Gateway Marketplace, is leased to tenants including a 42,212-square-foot PGA Tour Superstore, Trader Joe’s, Mecca Gym, Land Ocean, Chili’s, Le Peep, Mathnasium and Orange Theory Fitness. Wood acquired the property in 2021. Mike King, Erik Swanson, Darren Tappen, Peter Beauchamp and Nathan Thinnes of Kidder Matthews represented the seller, CWCapital, in the transaction. An undisclosed buyer purchased the center through CWCapital’s online auction platform, RI Marketplace.
