CBRE represented the seller, Invesco, in the transaction. Developed in 1990 and renovated in 2015, the property was 96 percent occupied at the time of sale by tenants including The Container Store, Jos A. Bank and The Mixx. Salina, Kan. — Blue West Capital has arranged the $9 million sale of Sunset Plaza in Salina, a city in central Kansas located roughly 100 miles north of Wichita. Dillons, a division of Kroger, anchors the 126,606-square-foot shopping center. The Dillons store was remodeled in 2019, and a fuel center was added in 2020. Originally constructed in 1960, Sunset Plaza was nearly fully leased at the time of sale. Wichita, Kan. — Blue West Capital has negotiated the sale of Killarney Center, a 22,800-square-foot retail property in Wichita. Located at 3101 N. Rock Road, the center is home to Golftec, T-Mobile, Oh Yeah China Bistro, Oreck Clean Home and The Health Connection. The sale also included a Scooters Coffee ground lease. Shawn Dickmann and Carly Kelly of Blue West Capital represented the buyer, an out-of-state, private real estate investment company. The seller and sales price were not released.

Overland Park, Kan. — PEBB Enterprises and Contrarian Capital Management have sold the Pinnacle Village shopping center in the Kansas City suburb of Overland Park for $16.8 million. Cherry Hill Properties was the buyer. PEBB and Contrarian purchased Pinnacle Village in May 2018 and enhanced the 108,729-square-foot center through leasing activity and property improvements. Pittsburg, Kan. — Marshalls will open a 25,000-square-foot store at Pittsburg Town Center in Pittsburg, a city in Southeast Kansas. Other tenants at the property include The Home Depot, Chili’s, Buffalo Wild Wings and UPS. David Block and Phil Peck of Block & Co. Inc. Realtors negotiated the lease transaction on behalf of the undisclosed ownership group. Block & Co. also manages the property.

The 90,982-square-foot retail center is located at 2525 Iowa St. Anchor tenants at the fully occupied property include Planet Fitness and Office Depot. Zach Turner, Scott Wiles, Mark Ruble, Erin Patton, Craig Fuller and Chris Lind of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, a Kansas-based limited liability company. Kansas City, Kan. — In a sale-leaseback transaction, MAG Capital Partners LLC has acquired a 30,000-square-foot retail building occupied by Frontier Justice in Kansas City. Frontier Justice, a retail destination founded in 2015 by Mike and Bren Brown, offers firing ranges, a café and an exclusive fashion boutique that sells a variety of men’s and women’s apparel, jewelry and home décor. Judd Dunning of DWG Capital Group arranged debt financing for MAG Capital Partners, which is led by Dax Mitchell and Andrew Gi.
