Connell Underway on $400 Million Mixed-Use Redevelopment in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey

Berkeley Heights, N.J. — New Jersey-based developer The Connell Company is underway on The Park, a $400 million mixed-use redevelopment project in the Northern New Jersey community of Berkeley Heights. The development spans 185 acres and will feature office, hospitality, residential and retail uses, as well as a network of jogging and nature trails, upon completion in 2023. Phillips Edison Sells 74,393-Square-Foot Juan Tabo Plaza in Albuquerque

Albuquerque, N.M. — Phillips Edison & Co. has completed the sale of Juan Tabo Plaza, an institutional-quality shopping center located at 11000 Montgomery Road NE in Albuquerque. Samco Properties purchased the asset for an undisclosed price free and clear of existing debt. Anchored by Walmart Neighborhood Market, Juan Tabo Plaza features 74,393 square feet of institutional-quality retail space in a mix of grocery, hair salon, restaurants, tax preparation and health tenants. Heslin Holdings Completes Redevelopment of West Central Plaza in Albuquerque

Albuquerque, N.M. — Heslin Holdings has completed the redevelopment of West Central Plaza, a retail center located at 4208 Central Ave. SW in Albuquerque. Retailers at the property are now open for business. The company originally acquired the 150,000-square-foot retail center in 2015 with a large, vacant, single-tenant space. The multimillion-dollar renovation included the division of the largest freestanding building at the property, formerly occupied by Kmart, into two anchor tenant spaces now occupied by Burlington and Conn’s Home Plus.
