Marcus & Millichap Brokers $2 Million Sale of Retail Strip Center in Greater Knoxville Area

Newport, Tenn. — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the roughly $1.97 million sale of Five Rivers Plaza located in Newport, 41 miles east outside Knoxville. The retail center — which totals 40,085 square feet — was fully leased at the time of sale. Family Dollar Tree anchors 55 percent of the property on a five-year lease. There are four years remaining on the lease with five, five-year renewal options. Other tenants at the property include Little Caesars, Cricket Wireless and Vape & Tobacco Shop. Marcus & Millichap Facilitates $8.3 Million Sale of Retail Center in Hamilton Township, New Jersey

Hamilton Township, N.J. — Marcus & Millichap has facilitated the $8.3 million sale of Quakerbridge Shoppes located in Hamilton Township, a suburb of Trenton. The retail center — which totals 42,912 square feet and sits on roughly five acres — houses 18 tenants including Northfield Bank and Villa Maria Restaurant. Alan Cafiero and Brent Hyldahl of Marcus & Millichap marketed the property on behalf of the undisclosed seller and procured the buyer in the transaction.

Nags Head, N.C. — Charlotte, North Carolina-based The Keith Corporation has acquired the Outlets Nags Head, an 82,161-square-foot outlet shopping center located on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Ignite Retail Partners will lead marketing and leasing efforts for the property. Tenants at the center include Aerie, Eddie Bauer, Michael Kors, Talbots, and Vera Bradley, as well as a collection of local retailers like Salt Coast Outfitters, Outer Banks Olive Oil and BROS. Singerman Real Estate sold the property for an undisclosed price.

The 20,193-square-foot center was fully leased at the time of sale. Tenants at the property include IHOP, Five Guys, Batteries Plus, Heartland Dental and America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses. Austin, Texas — Stratus Properties Inc. has obtained a $29.8 million loan to refinance Lantana Place, a newly-developed retail property located within Stratus’ mixed-use development project in the Barton Creek area of Austin. The new loan matures in February 2029. Lantana Place — which totals 99,379 square feet — is anchored by Moviehouse & Eatery and AC Hotel by Marriott.
