Anderson, Ind. — Quantum Real Estate Advisors Inc. has brokered the sale of a 14,418-square-foot property occupied by Walgreens in Anderson, about 40 miles northeast of Indianapolis. Constructed in 2004, the building is located at 320 S. Scatterfield Road. At the time of sale, Walgreens had roughly eight years remaining on its 25-year lease term. Dan Waszak of Quantum represented the buyer, a New York City-based 1031 investor. The seller was also based in New York.
Roswell, Ga. — JLL Capital Markets has arranged the $39.1 million sale of King’s Market, a 281,064-square-foot retail center in Roswell, roughly 21 miles outside Atlanta. Jim Hamilton, Brad Buchanan and Andrew Michols of JLL marketed the property on behalf of the seller, The Mimms Family. Brixmor Property Group purchased the center. Anchored by Publix, King’s Market was 75 percent occupied at the time of sale by tenants including Frontgate Furniture Outlet, Sky Zone and TK Volleyball.
Reno, Nev. — DCG has arranged the sale of South Meadows Promenade, a retail center located on the corner of South Meadows Parkway and Double R Boulevard in Reno. An investor in a 1031 exchange acquired the property for $34 million. The name of the seller was not disclosed. At the time of escrow, the 80,000-square-foot shopping center was fully occupied. Dan Cooper of Cooper Group represented the seller, a metro Cincinnati-based private investor. A West Coast-based buyer purchased the property.
