Atlanta — Ardent Cos. plans to add a food-and-beverage destination within its Piedmont Center office campus in Atlanta’s Buckhead district. Dubbed Oxton, the project will transform 35,000 square feet of ground-level office space into a collection of eateries that will spill into the property’s tree-lined courtyard. Jacksonville, Fla. — NAI Hallmark has brokered the $3.7 million sale of a 2,425-square-foot property located in Jacksonville. Chipotle Mexican Grill will occupy the newly constructed building on a 15-year, triple-net-lease basis. Daniel Burkhardt and Keith Goldfaden of NAI represented the seller, C & C Jax Investors, in the transaction. A private investor purchased the property.
Washington, D.C. — MRP Realty will open Bryant Street Market Food Hall in Washington D.C.’s Edgewood neighborhood. The current tenant lineup includes Alegria Bar, Blowfish Poke, Grassfed Griddle, Taqueria Habanero, Tiger Sugar and Bold Dumpling. Beginning Mar. 17, the market — which is located in residential building The Chase — will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., remaining open until 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Bryant Street Market will also host various pop-ups, and MRP plans to add a 2,400-square-foot event space.
Roseville, Calif. — Hanley Investment Group Real Estate Advisors has arranged the $4 million sale of a two-tenant retail pad located in Roseville, roughly 20 miles northeast of Sacramento. Chipotle Mexican Grill and Sushi Roku occupy the 4,808-square-foot property, which is situated within Freedom Point Plaza shopping center. Jeff Lefko and Bill Asher of Hanley represented the seller, Covenant Real Estate Group, in the transaction. Scott Pesch of CB Commercial Pacific Partners represented the buyer, a private investor.
Coppell, Forney and Fort Worth, Texas — Firehouse Subs has signed three leases totaling 4,149 square feet in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro. Firehouse will occupy 1,649 square feet at Heritage Trace in Fort Worth, 1,300 square feet at Victory at Forney in Forney and 1,200 square feet at Braewood Shopping Center in Coppell. Grant Gary and Kendall Graff of The Woodmont Co. represented Firehouse Subs in the lease negotiations.
Wantagh, N.Y. — The French Workshop has opened a 3,750-square-foot artisanal bakery and café at Willow Wood Shopping Center in the Long Island community of Wantagh. Robert Delavale of the Breslin Realty represented the landlord in the lease negotiations on an internal basis. Cary Fabrikant, also with Breslin Realty, represented the tenant. Other tenants at the center include Starbucks Coffee, Petco and Jovia Financial Credit Union.
Eden Prairie, Minn. — Marcus & Millichap has brokered the $2.3 million sale of an 8,276-square-foot restaurant property in the Minneapolis suburb of Eden Prairie. Buca Di Beppo occupies the property on a net-lease basis. Tom Gommels of Marcus & Millichap represented the seller, a limited liability company. Alvin Mansour and Sim Liberow, also of Marcus & Millichap, represented the buyer, an LLC completing a 1031 exchange.
Houston — EDENS has announced the addition of four new retail and restaurant tenants to its Uptown Park development in Houston. Natuzzi, a luxury Italian furniture brand, will open a 6,393-square-foot showroom; and Hi, skin — a skincare concept — will occupy a 2,261-square-foot space. Food-and-beverage concepts JuiceLand and sweetgreen will also join the tenant lineup, leasing 700 square feet and 2,908 square feet, respectively.
Schaumburg, Ill. — Lee & Associates has negotiated the sale of a 12,500-square-foot property formerly occupied by Frankly Yours restaurant in Schaumburg, approximately 30 miles northwest of Chicago. Rick Scardino and Michael Petrik of Lee & Associates represented the buyer, the Village of Schaumburg. Attorney Steven Dobrofsky represented the seller, Chicago Title Land Trust Co.
Woburn, Mass. — Teresa’s Ristorante will open a 12,500-square-foot Italian eatery in Woburn, a northern suburb of Boston. The space, which features private dining rooms and a patio, is currently being renovated, and the restaurant expects to open this spring. John Halsey and Steve Cusano of Cummings Properties represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. The name and representative of the landlord were not disclosed.
