ECHO Realty Purchases Grocery-Anchored Paradise Plaza in Sarasota, Florida for $26.7 Million

Sarasota, Fla. – In Paradise Plaza, the Publix store consists of 49,000 square feet, CVS comprises 16,000 square feet and Petco has 12,000 square feet.

ECHO Realty has acquired Paradise Plaza Shopping Center in Sarasota, Fla., which originally opened as Crossroads Plaza in 1959, added Publix in 1995 and was redeveloped by the sellers in 2005.Sarasota, Fla. – ECHO Realty has acquired Paradise Plaza Shopping Center, a 140,000-square-foot center anchored by Publix, CVS and Petco in Sarasota, for $26.7 million. Paradise Plaza originally opened as Crossroads Plaza in 1959, added Publix in 1995 and was redeveloped by the sellers, a partnership between Paradise Ventures and E.J. Plesko & Associates, in 2005. Other tenants include Hallmark, Pure Barre, The UPS Store, Hand & Stone, Einstein Bros. Bagels, TCBY, Silverberg Jewelry and Smoothie King. Curtis Crenshaw of Coastal Companies and Tad Templeton of the Templeton Group brokered the purchase.
