Huntington Beach, Calif. — The 155,000-square-foot center’s redevelopment began late last year.
Huntington Beach, Calif. — Watt Properties has completed a $20 million renovation to Edinger Plaza, a 155,000-square-foot neighborhood center in Huntington Beach. The redevelopment to the 25-acre property began in late 2011. It included an expansion of a 25,000-square-foot building to approximately 48,000 square feet for a Dick’s Sporting Goods. Another vacant building was also expanded for a 34,000-square-foot Nordstrom Rack. Michaels underwent facade improvements, as well as a shell expansion to 25,000 square feet. Other tenants for the 94 percent-leased center include PetSmart, Citibank, Arizona Leather and Starbucks. The center’s exterior and two multi-tenant buildings were also renovated throughout the redevelopment. MPA served as the project manager for the redevelopment. Coreland Cos. oversees management of the property.
