North Franklin Township, Pa. — A partnership between Los Angeles-based Industrial Realty Group (IRG) and Cleveland-based PREP Funds has opened its 100,000-square-foot retail phase at Franklin Crossroads Park, located roughly 30 miles south of Pittsburgh.
Previously known as Washington Crown Center, the adaptive-reuse project will transform the former indoor mall into a multi-tenant commercial and business mixed-use destination. The renovated retail segment is currently 98 percent leased to a mix of tenants including Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Dollar Tree, Rural King, MAC.BID, The Toffee House, Haven Cheer & Gymnastics, Nail Trix, Bacon Jam, Kandy Nails, King’s Jewelry and Excel Martial Arts, along with a Crown Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM car dealership.
In addition, ownership is also redeveloping the western portion of the property, which will feature a 350,000-square-foot business park.
